Giving Back Never Sounded So Good

“The music program Colin Ford has developed … provides a wonderful example of how easily positive social change can happen in our community when a caring volunteer contributes his talent, expertise, and skills towards addressing a large social issue like homelessness,” explains Teri Nicholas, Executive Director of Family Services of Greater Vancouver. Colin explains, “I am consistently knocked over by the high level of creativity and eagerness that my students have, even with all the difficult challenges that they have to face every day. They make it easy for me to volunteer. It’s rewarding on so many levels. I wish there were more hours in the day. I would give more of my time if I had it.”
